Every May I head to Quadra Island for 3 days to be part of Camp Homewood. The Canadian Diabetes association holds a family camp for kids living with type 1 diabetes. I have been volunteering for CDA for the past 14 years, and this was my fourth time at Camp Homewood. An awesome weekend where I get to hang out with others, and inspire them with my active lifestyle and many adventurous stories.

Great day with Coast Range Heli. The April snow was soft and knee deep and had an opportunity to ski in a t-shirt by days end!!
